XP SP3, Vista, and Windows 7 Latency Fix for World of Warcraft and other games.

If you're having issues with latency with Windows 7, Vista, and I believe XP SP3 there is a fix.  I live 25 miles from the WoW Dallas Datacenter and my latency on my Mac was always below 10ms, after switching to Windows 7 RC (Building something more powerful than my mac pro) I noticed my latency was 150-200ms.  This was irritating because I was unable to figure out the cause of it.  The real cause is how Microsoft has redone their settings on the network stack in Windows.  It's great for corporate networks, but it just plain sucks for gaming.

Many members of my guild have applied this fix and have reported halving their latency or better.  I'm back to less than 10ms again as well.

This works, and as a programmer in my off time, I went through it and looked for malicious code and found none.  I have since installed it and noticed a huge difference, literally halving my latency after installing Win 7 64-bit.

Yeah it ticks me off to think that M$ actually screwed up their TCPIP stack so badly, or at least tweaked it the wrong way for consumers vs corporations.
